Introduction

Holistic Perception can be defined as the perception of reality in its natural organic state. In psychology, it is referred to as an approach that is used to understand the human mind and behavior focusing on looking at things as a whole. The main idea of holistic perception is to look at all-natural things as a whole without considering their constituting parts. A holistic Approach or perception is opposite to reductionism, the focus on analyzing things by trying to break them into the smallest parts.

Holistic Perception suggests that to understand the smallest parts of a thing, it is better to analyze that thing in relation to the whole first.  Psychologists consider the mind as a unit in which its different part are playing their important roles within an integrated system of this unit. According to psychologists, “Humans are much more than simply the sum of their body parts” in terms of Holistic Perception.

Holistic Perception is a very solid and well-organized psychological phenomenon. However, there are some ailments related to the mind that can cause distortion or interruption in the holistic processing of the human. We are going to discuss these ailments one by one.

What are the Mental Ailments that can affect Holistic Perception negatively?

Following are some common ailments that can be involved in the disruption in Holistic Perception:

Headaches are one of the most common mental health conditions experienced many times by most people during their lives. They are described as mild to intense pain in the head or face. The pain in the head or face can also be throbbing, dull, sharp, and constant depending on the cause of headaches.

There are many types of treatments for headaches such as medication, biofeedback, or natural treatment. However, before discussing their treatment, less discuss something about their causes and types.

Secondary Headache is actually a symptom of the other medical condition the body suffering from. Following are some common causes of secondary headaches in addition to those mentioned above:

  • Acute Sinusitis
  • Brain aneurysm
  • Carbon monoxide poisoning
  • Concussion
  • Dehydration
  • Dental Problems
  • Encephalitis
  • Ear Infection
  • High Blood Pressure
  • Glaucoma

On the other hand, no medical conditions are involved in the case of primary headaches. The possible factors that can trigger primary headaches include:

  • Noise
  • Weather Changes

  • Excessive use of medication
  • Strain in back or neck due to poor body posture
  • Listening to music at high volume for a longer period

All types of headaches have some symptoms common among them such as throbbing, mild to moderate pain, worsening of pain during routine activities, nausea or vomiting in severe cases, and sensitivity to light.

Therefore, it is very important to treat headaches to get back to your normal routine life. Headaches are treated in several ways but most of them involve the use of medication and synthetic drugs which could be dangerous for your health in high concentration. In this situation, people look for natural treatment of headaches in which no medication or synthetic drugs are used.
