Ultimate UI: The Trial

A UI thread had me thinking about trying a new user interface. I've been using a very basic hodgepodge of modules for the last year and half.

I've decided to give Ultimate UI a try. I followed Nathon's instructions to try out "his" UI. The main problem I ran into was that his setup is designed using a resolution of 1280 x 1024 while I run at 1680 x 1050. For the most part things were OK, but it took some poking around to get things mostly work.

After one session, I can tell you that I can't imagine keeping this setup long term. But, I won't give up yet. I'm determined to give this UI a full trial.

So, what thoughts do you have on UIs?
