WoW Armory Losing Data?

WoW Armory - Character Data Unavailable

Something wonky has been going on with the WoW Armory lately. For some reason, Hynjoku’s data has been unavailable for about a week. I first noticed this problem on someone else’s character, and thought it was because they had just started playing the character again after a long layoff. Now it’s happening to Hynjoku and I play every day (mostly)!

I’ll admit I haven’t been to the forums where I’m sure there’s some long post about this with calls for blue response, blah blah blah. But heck, I don’t care! I’ve got a web site, and I’m gonna moan and groan about it!

Ha!

Happy Holidays!

Here’s hoping your Feast of the Winter Veil is all you hope for.

Happy Holidays from the entire Hynjoku family.

What to Do? What to Do?

Mixed Signals (With Clipping Path)(photo by CraigPJ)I’ve played Horde since release. I played an undead rogue for the first two years, and have spent the last year as a troll hunter and then orc hunter (the Famous Hynjoku!).

I’ve spent the last few weeks PVPing pretty hard, and recently purchased my [Gladiator's Chain Helm].

But as I was wracking up the honor in Alterac Valley this weekend, I started to question all the time I was putting into PVP. All of my real life friends and family that have recently started joined the game are playing on the Alliance side. What’s the point of putting so much focus on an unguilded character when all the folks I want to play with are on another server in a different faction?

So, I made the executive decision last night to focus more attention on my dwarf hunter. That means that, at least for a while, I’m going to be less Hynjoku Horde Hunter, and more Hynjoku Hunter of Horde. It’s not a decision I’m totally comfortable with, to be honest, but it is what it is.

Any thoughts? If so, leave a comment.

Ghost Wolf Taming Video

I just came across this video via WoW Moviewatch (on WoW Insider). If you’ve been following things somewhat closely, you’ll know that the new Grimtotem Spirit Guide is extremely difficult to tame. This ghostly wolf is summoned in a Dustwallow Marsh event but only survives for 8 seconds. Since the Tame Pet skill takes 20 seconds to channel, this is obviously a problem!

With the right combination of buffs and gear ([Mystical Skyfire Diamond] to the rescue), you can lower that cast time below the necessary 8 second threshold. Mania has a nice write up on the ghost wolf, including taming information.
