Level 20 - Cheetah Fast

Generally speaking, World of Warcraft is pretty miserable before level 40. Without a mount, the endless running is pretty mind-numbing. That's why becoming level 20 is such a relief for young hunters: Aspect of the Cheetah. Don't be fooled, Aspect of the Cheetah is not a game breaker, but it is a 30% speed increase. Obviously, once I hit level 20, I had to spend a few minutes zipping around town. Whee!

By now, I've spent 11 talent points. After going 5/5 in Endurance Training, I jumped over to the Marksmanship tree and put 5/5 into Lethal Shots. The additional 5% chance to deliver a critical strike is a nice damage boost. I probably should have spent my first 5 points there before going into Beast Mastery. Live and learn.

I'm back in the Beast Mastery tree with 1 talent point in Thick Hide. That's a nice armor boost for my pet.

I also managed to subdue the giant spider Besseleth for Maggran Earthbinder of Sun Rock Retreat. This is the Arachnophobia quest from a wanted poster in Stonetalon Mountains. This was a very difficult kill and I was lucky enough to have someone in the area help me out. I have no idea if I could have done it alone, but I really appreciate the Clear Crystal Rod.
