Echeyakee, Humar's Understudy

It has been my intention to use Humar the Pridelord as my DPS pet. As you may (or may not) know, Humar is a unique black male lion. As if his uniqueness was not enough, he is also an extremely rare spawn. The general consensus is that his spawn time is between 8 and 12 hours.

8 and 12 hours!

That means you only have 2-3 chances per day to catch him, and you're competing with every hunter on your server. Needless to say, taming this beauty is a feat.

I decided that I would need a Plan B, just in case I wasn't able to show the patience necessary to nab Humar. My Plan B is Echeyakee, a white male lion. He shares his skin with only one other mob: Sian-Rotam of Winterspring. Both of these white lions are summoned via Horde quests, so catching one isn't as exciting for a Horde Hunter as it would be for the Alliance. It's still a beautiful catch.

I welcome Echeyakee into my stable, but please don't mention to him that it may only be temporary... He looks pretty hungry!
